Meet The Team
Jake comes from a hard-working, blue-collar family, where he was taught the value of hard work and sacrifice from an early age. His father established a strong work ethic by involving him in industrial construction at just 14. Jake understood that this wasn’t his lifelong path, yet the enduring values of showing up every day and taking pride in what you do, stuck with him throughout his life. In college, Jake met a friend who introduced him to financial services and after obtaining a bachelor’s degree in finance & accounting, he jumped right in to the finance industry with a job at a big corporate box firm.
Jake was not impressed and found that these companies just wanted to gather clients’ money and charge a fee. They didn’t focus on helping people truly prepare for making that transition from going to work everyday earning a paycheck to preparing for what to do when those paychecks stop, and retirement begins.
