Luke Serfas

Luke has always believed in hard work and earning your keep. After graduating from Towson University, he felt a duty to give back and joined the Marine Corps. Commissioned as an officer, he spent four years on active duty leading teams in a range of leadership roles and continued in the military reserves, where he served as a major.

After active duty, Luke went to Wall Street, starting his financial career in the corporate and investment bank at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. He spent five years helping clients strengthen their financial positions, then took a vice president role at Citibank. Over time, Luke saw the focus at those big firms shift away from clients and toward internal metrics, so he left the Wall Street grind to join his brother, Jake, at Copper Creek, where clients come first.

Luke holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from University of Maryland Global Campus and a bachelor’s degree in sociology and anthropology from Towson University. He has passed the Series 65 securities exam and is an Investment Adviser Representative. He also holds life and health insurance producer licenses.
